Die Papierfabrik Wepa modernisiert ihre Druckluftstationen kontinuierlich. Mit einem drehzahlgeregelten Kompressor, der die Spitzenlasten abfängt, fing es an. Weitere alte Kompressoren wurden durch effizientere neue ersetzt, die einen besonders niedrigen spezifischen Energiebedarf haben. Beides zusammen spart schon über 60.000 Euro im Jahr. Das Tüpfelchen auf dem i ist das Wärmerückgewinnungssystem, mit dem die Abwärme aller Kompressoren zu Heizzwecken genutzt wird.
